Corrections Policy

We try to publish dated figures that a reader can check. When we make a mistake we want to fix it quickly and say so.

How to report an error

Email contact@lpgpricetoday.com or use the form on our contact page. Please include the page address, the figure or sentence that looks wrong and the source you think we should use.

You do not need a formal letter. A short note is enough.

What we will do

  • We will check the original source and any newer official figure.
  • If we are wrong we will update the page.
  • If the error could have misled a reader we will add a short correction note on that page with the date of the change.
  • If a news roundup cited the wrong publisher or the wrong number we will correct the sentence and the Sources list.

We do not silently swap a live price for a guessed one. If we cannot verify a number we remove it or mark it as unavailable.

What we do not change

Older dated news posts describe prices as they stood on that day. We do not rewrite history to match today’s rate. Those posts now carry a note that points to our current U.S. or India price page.

A later official revision is an update, not proof that the earlier dated figure was invented. We keep both the original dated line and the new one when that helps a reader follow the change.

Fact-checking before we publish

  • Every price has a source and a date.
  • We do not invent quotes.
  • We do not use another site’s figure unless we can name that site.
  • Unit conversions and tank-fill maths are labelled as estimates.
