LPG International Price Today: Saudi CP, Mont Belvieu and Country Rates
This page is the hub for the LPG international price today. It shows dated wholesale benchmarks and a short list of retail prices we can source. We do not fill empty country rows with a guess.
Compiled Friday, November 6, 2026 from the same figures already published on our U.S. and India price pages and from the Saudi contract-price reports those pages cite.
Global LPG benchmarks today
Traders watch the Saudi Aramco contract price (CP) and the Mont Belvieu spot price. The CP is a monthly wholesale reference for many Asian cargoes. Mont Belvieu in Texas is the main U.S. hub.

The November CP was reported by MT Newswires and Argaam on October 29, 2026. Mont Belvieu is the EIA daily series also published on FRED. Our U.S. page notes that daily spot data reaches us about a week late.
Retail LPG price by country
The table below includes only countries where we already publish a sourced figure. More rows will be added when we have an official dated source. Units differ, so do not treat one row as a perfect like-for-like comparison.

EIA publishes residential prices for 38 U.S. states. Twelve states have no EIA figure and we do not invent one. Oil companies in India set prices city by city. A town near a capital may pay a little more or less.
What this means in the United States
The U.S. residential average of $2.820 a gallon is a home delivered price from EIA. It sits well above the Mont Belvieu spot price of $1.203 on October 27, 2026. The gap covers delivery, storage and the supplier’s costs.

What this means in India
India imports much of its LPG. The Saudi CP is the main wholesale reference. For November 2026 propane rose to $720 a tonne from $680 in October. Butane rose to $780 from $730.
That wholesale move does not automatically change the home cylinder the same month. In Delhi the 14.2 kg home cylinder is still ₹942. The 19 kg commercial cylinder moved to ₹2,820 from 1 November 2026. See LPG cylinder price today in India for capitals and metros.

There is no single world retail price. The usual wholesale references are the Saudi Aramco monthly contract price and the Mont Belvieu spot price. Household prices then differ by country, tax and subsidy.

Propane is $720 a tonne and butane is $780 a tonne, as reported by MT Newswires and Argaam on October 29, 2026. October was $680 and $730.
Why is the United States listed in gallons and India in rupees per cylinder?
Those are the units each official source uses. Converting them into one number without showing the method can mislead readers.
Do you list every country?
No. We only list a country when we have a dated official or named source. A long table with no sources is worse than a short table you can check.
How often is this page updated?
The Saudi CP usually changes once a month. Mont Belvieu can move every trading day, with a short reporting lag. U.S. residential prices update weekly in winter. India cylinder rates are checked every morning.
